Urban Sakura Cotton and Acrylic Crochet Ruffle Skirt

Inspired by the row of Sakura trees that blossom from the grey concrete and the lavender coloured flowering bush that grows next to it.
Twirl in many shades of cherry blossom pink dappled along the waistband and skirt top. Stripes of slate grey like the tiles that encompasses the Sakura highlight the pink.
Some of the pinks of the skirt is has iridescent thread woven through, sending sparks of crystalline colour. Thin stripes of lavender wind there way through the skirt.
On the reverse the pinks and grey dapple the waistband. Beauty can bloom in urban places.
The Urban Sakura skirt is made using second hand acrylic yarn and Frutta by Hobbii.

ELASTIC CAN BE CROCHETED INTO THE WAISTBAND TO MINIMIZE STRETCHING.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THIS SKIRT AS THE COTTON IS VERY SOFT AND LIGHT.
