ELASTIC THREAD CAN BE CROCHETED INTO THE WAISTBAND TO MINIMIZE STRETCHING.
Even though this cotton yarn is sturdy the waistband will stretch over time due to wear and the weight of the skirt on the waistband. As well as that being the nature of crochet.
